Why take a field trip to Center for Creative Play?
Center for Creative Play (CFCP) offers field trip opportunities to groups of ten or more children ranging from age one through eight.. Field trips have been designed to provide developmentally appropriate play and learning opportunities in a universally designed environment. CFCP field trips are an easy way for educators and childcare providers to meet Pennsylvania State Curriculum Standards.

How much does a classic "Free Play" field trip cost?
The cost of a field trip is $6.50 per child. Adults are FREE.

What is the required child to adult ratio?
Because we are an adult-supervised playspace, we require at least one active adult supervisor for every 5 children.

What areas of the playfloor can field trips use?
Your group will have use of the entire 15,000 square foot playfloor during your visit. You will also be given the use of a private event room for 2 hours.

What will we find on the playfloor?

• Tumbling mats, jump ropes, and materials and room to create obstacle courses
• Pretend play settings like CFCP’s tree house, doctor’s office, and Heinz® kitchen and diner
• Musical instruments
• Theater costumes
• A fully-stocked art room
• Building blocks in all sizes
• Much more!

What about food?
You are welcomed to bring your own food, which you may eat in your private room.

Where do we park?
Your staff and buses can park for free in the lot directly outside of CFCP’s main entrance.
