  • Children with sensory processing and neurological issues including but not limited to autism spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD and Down syndrome
  • Young children with typically developing nervous systems love to explore these rooms
  • Adults who want to spend a quiet moment with (or without!) their children
What should a sensory room include?
  • One color through out the room (usually white)

How can Center for Creative Play help you make your own sensory room?
  • Provide background theory information on why you should have a sensory room in your play environment
  • Make suggestions of sensory room equipment and manufacturers
  • Assist you in writing a proposal for installing a sensory room in your play environment
